The Yeti 400 Solar Generator & Two Nomad 20 Panels Kit from Goal Zero includes a Yeti 400 Solar Generator and two Nomad 20 Solar Panels. The Yeti 400 Solar Generator is a silent, plug-and-play, fume-free, all-electric power source. It can be used for powering or charging your portable electronics and gadgets while you are on a road trip or camping and will deliver a peak power capacity of 396Wh. To serve as a one power source for all your gadgets, Yeti 400 offers two USB output ports, one 12V car adapter output, two 6mm 12V outputs, and two 110 VAC electrical output ports. The AC inverter is capable of providing 600W surge max and 300W continuous power output. This generator can be charged from an included wall power adapter, an optional 12V car adapter, or using two included Nomad 20 Solar Panels via the 8mm charging input port. To allow you to monitor its status, it has both a charging indicator and a battery status indicator. The weather resistant housing has rubberized armoring, four round rubberized feet for non-slip traction, and a carrying handle on the top.

The two included Nomad 20 Solar Panels are for charging the Goal Yeti 400 Solar Generator, or compatible electronics. Connecting the two Nomad 20 panels in series can dramatically reduce the charge time for your Yeti 400 compared to using one such solar panel. Each Nomad 20 panel features monocrystalline silicon cells capable of producing 20W of electrical power with an open circuit voltage from 18 to 22V. At the back of each panel, you will find an output power hub with four pig-tailed connectors: a standard power USB output, a 2.5mm Mini Solar Port, a female-type 8mm blue-coded Solar Input Port, and a male-type 8mm blue-coded Solar Output Port.

To protect the solar cells from elements as well as dust and mechanical damage, this panel is outfitted with tempered glass windows. The nylon packaging reduces overall weight and adds flexibility for folding and unfolding the three sections of the panel. To keep each panel tightly folded for transporting and storage, there are built in permanent magnets around the frame. If you have extra cables and accessories to connect and carry around with your solar panels, there are large flaps with zippers in the back, which form large accessories pouches. Additionally, each panel contains eleven nylon loops around the perimeter and one on closure to allow options for a secure attachment in a variety of settings.
